W Dick Livingston 1931 ~ 2011 Wendell Dick Livingston was born June 13, 1931, and returned to his Heavenly Father December 15, 2011 surrounded by his family. Dick lived each day of his life as a perfect example of a disciple of Christ. He enjoyed skiing, golfing and horseback riding, all of which he taught his children and grandchildren. He also cherished time spent at the family cabin. Dick currently served at Jordan River Temple (5:00 am session for the last 30 years) and also as Pack Leader with the cub scouts-having a special place in his heart for them. He has a missionary spirit, loving the gospel of Jesus Christ and wanting to share it. He served as a missionary in the West Central States, and later as Stake Missionary in addition to many other callings. Dick started Livingston Distributing Co, in the early 1950's providing jobs for his children and many neighborhood young men who learned the value of work. He held the respect of his clients because of his integrity. Dick is survived by his wife of 61 years, Donna Cannon Livingston, children, JoLynn (Kim) Johnson, Mark (Cheri) Livingston, Dale (Linda) Livingston, Kay (Steve) Ericson, Ann (Mike) Elnicky, 20 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren (with two on the way), brother, Larry, sister Karen Cannon. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Viola Pearl Neilson and Wendell A Livingston, sister Nancy Law, a baby brother, and great-grandson, James. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening, December 20, 2011 at 6:30-8:30 at the Holladay 18th Ward, and prior to the service 10:45-11:30. Funeral services will also be held at the Holladay 18th Ward, 2625 E Milo Way, Holladay, UT at 12:00 on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Interment will be at the Holladay Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Church Missionary Fund.
