William Richard Bredengerd; 82 of Wendover, Nevada died Friday, January 11, 2008 in Murray, Utah. Bill was born September 30, 1925 in Salina, Kansas, the son of Joseph Matthew Bredengerd and Garnett Mary Divers Bredengerd. Bill served during WWII in the Army Air Corp. He served in the Pacific Theatre and earned the WWII Victory Medal. Bill received his technical training in sheet metal and well drilling. He worked as a sheet and metal contractor and owned his own well drilling company. He has shared over 20 years with his companion Bea Santillanez. They made their home in Wendover, Nevada. They enjoyed camping and traveling. He loved fishing, hunting, being a craftsman and was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Bill is survived by his companion; Bea Santillanez, and his sons; William Richard Bredengerd Jr., Matthew C. Bredengerd, Joseph Bredengerd and Richard Bredengerd. He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. Funeral services were held Monday, January 14, 2008 in Wendover, Utah at the San Felipe Catholic Church.
