William (Bill) Clarence Brown passed away peacefully in the early morning of Tuesday, August 2, 2011.
Bill was born on January 14, 1960 in Downey, Idaho to Clarence and Joan Brown. He was the youngest of four children. He graduated from Cottonwood High School and continued his education at Salt Lake Community College and the University of Utah. He focused his studies on his passion, music, including Jazz, Blues, Rock, and Classical.
Bill married his sweetheart, Jill Ann Jorgensen, in 1984, and they were later sealed to each other and their children in the Bountiful LDS Temple.
He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having great faith in Jesus Christ, the prophetic calling of Joseph Smith, and the Book of Mormon. He enjoyed working in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and worked diligently on family history.
Bill's passion for music allowed him to touch the lives of many, as a teacher, mentor, student, performer, and composer. He was a talented bassist and guitarist, and played in many music groups, primarily Jazz. He had an extensive music collection. He also enjoyed watching movies, reading literature, and eating good food. He was a loyal and entertaining friend to many.

His most important roles in life were those of husband and father, where his impact was immeasurable. While we mourn his death, we hope to be together with him again someday.
